Altura farms was born in the cold, rainy mountains—an area NOT traditionally known for growing tobacco. Here, we grow and produce our own wrapper, binder, and filler. The tobacco grows two to three times longer, cures for three to four months, and ferments for up to a year and a half at 25–28°C. This slow, cool process creates natural sugars, essential oils and aromas in a way found nowhere else. In consequence we have a cigar with different taste, intense aroma, distinctive and unique flavors.
